Over being in lockdown? Dreaming of the time, you can go out and explore new places once again?  Us too! So just for you, we have created a list of unique places to visit, explore and, of course, eat at, in the Tweed Valley.

Quilla Design Emporium 

Quilla Design Emporium is an exciting new studio and gallery located in Mooball that features the amazing local female talent of the Northern Rivers and southern Gold Coast. Nestled within a heritage-listed building, they feature Fine art, Aboriginal paintings, ceramics, artistic photography, homewares, jewellery, natural skincare, candles, soaps, wallpaper and lampshades.

Moo Moo Roadhouse 

The iconic MooMoo Cafe (Yes, the one with the cow print poles) is located in Mooball, where they offer a wide range of food and drinks to satisfy your hunger or thirst. From Coffee’s and cake’s to All-day breakfast and lunch meals, there’s something for everyone! If you are looking for somewhere with a view, this is the perfect spot. The rolling hills (and sometimes even cows!) make the best location to sit down and relax.

Elwood Cafe-Burringbar 

Elwood Cafe is a small coffee shop snuggled within the heart of Burringbar. Not hard to miss within the bright blue building, its interiors offer a sense of warmth with its beautifully rustic design, perfect for sitting down and relaxing! 
Elwood Cafe also offers a wide range of coffee, drinks, ready-made food and beautifully crafted meals, with something available for everyone.

Cabarita Headland- Australia’s Best beach 2020

Are you wanting to stretch out your legs and go for a covid safe walk? Australias voted best beach 2020 is the place for you! Cabarita Headland offers a range of spots to sit down and relax or get your heart pumping with a walk. The north and south sides of the headland offer warm sand to relax or cool down in the crystal clear water. The headland walk provides some of the most spectacular panoramic views of both the north and south.

Pipit Resturant

Pipit is an amazing contemporary coastal dining experience located in Pottsville, only a 15-minute drive from the cabin.
The open plan design and counter seating allows you to watch as the kitchen and bar do their magic, adding to the experience.
Pipit was named Australia’s Regional Restaurant of the Year (2020 Good Food Guide) and finalist for Best New Restaurant & Sustainability Award (2020 Gourmet Traveller Magazine)

​The tweed also offers some exceptional experiences perfect for adults and kids alike! For the adults, Husks Distillery-Tumbulgum is the ideal chance to escape to the beautiful views of Tumbulgum while sipping on award-winning cocktails, with the rum brewed right on sight.

Tweed Regional Art Gallery- Murwillumbah ​

The tweed regional art gallery situated on the outskirts of Murwillumbah offers some of the most exceptional national and international artists, including the detailed Marget Olly exhibition. 
Once you’re finished immersing yourself in the featured artwork, time to dine in at Gallery by Bacaro, the amazing cafe right next door! Not only do they offer some amazing beverages and crafted food, we can’t forget about the amazing views from the top deck, overlooking the rolling hills and paddocks of the tweed.

Tropical Fruit World-Duranbah ​

Perfect for both adults and kids alike is Tropic Fruit world. More than a tourist attraction, and more than a commercial farm, Tropical Fruit World is a labour of love, a fruit farm of inimitable value. They offer a cafe, gift shops and tours of the farm which hold so many fruits, vegetables and other produce it’s too long to list! With a range of activities for both kids and adults, it’s the perfect place to spend the day and eat some of the freshest produce in the world.
